Adam Richard Silos, 68, of North Platte passed away at his home on April 3, 2021. Adam was born January 23, 1953, in North Platte to Julio Candy Silos and Nikki Serrano.

Adam was raised by his grandparents Candelario and Florencia Silos. He attended school, worked various jobs in North Platte and worked for the City of North Platte until his health forced his retirement. Adam was married to Norma LaRue, to this union Adam J. "Mijo", Jessie, Jennifer and Daniel were born, then married Corinna Fisher, to this union Aaron and Amber were born. On April 12, 1996 he married Deborah Boettger, to this union Florencio, Santiaga, Verna & Julio were born.

His children and grandchildren were his life. He loved classic cars, Mexican music and good food. He will be remembered as a strong person, a hardworking man, someone who loved to joke around and spend time outside.

Adam is survived by his wife, Deborah of North Platte, children; Adam J. "Mijo" (Halie) Silos, North Platte, Jessie (Santana) Silos, Colorado, Jennifer Silos, North Platte, Daniel Silos, Colorado, Aaron (Catherine) Fisher, North Platte, Amber Fisher, North Platte, Florencio Silos, North Platte, Santiaga (Ryan) Kwiatkowski, Kearney, Nebraska, Verna (Shawn) Engbrecht, North Platte and Julio (Breanna) Silos, North Platte; 30 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Alec "Chio" (Sharon) Silos, Denver, Colorado, Alex (Pam) Silos, North Platte, Candelario Silos, North Platte, Carmen (Baldomero) Castillo, Texas, Patty (Joe) Thompson, North Platte, Rosie (Randy) Waymire, Glenville, Nebraska, Danny Serrano, Missouri, Gloria Arellano, Omaha, Nebraska, David and Johnny Arellano, Leonard (Cindy) Serrano, Englewood, Colorado; along with numerous other family members and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Candelario and Florencia; grandson, Elijah Silos and numerous other family members.

A memorial has been established in his name.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with Salvation Army Major Harold Poff officiating. Visitation will be noon to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation.
