A Life of Laughter, Love, Sparkles, and Unsupervised Adventures!

"The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.", Mark Twain.

Family and Friends, gather 'round as we celebrate the unforgettable life of Lexi, who recently took the ultimate power nap at the tender age of "Forever 44". Lexi left this world as she lived in it – peacefully and with a spirit as fiery as her favorite beverage.

Born into a family that redefines "dysfunctional", Lexi entered this world on February 25th, 1981, and made her grand exit, peacefully and in her sleep on March 5th, 2025, both dates being significant with her siblings.

Lexi graduated from Torrington High School with honors and took some online college courses with an emphasis on Information Technology. She lived her life focused on family, friends, animals, and anything sparkly and glittery. She left behind the legendary role of daily phone calls to Mom (Karen), ever so lovingly, passing the torch to her sister (Denise) and setting the bar higher than the grocery bill! She loved being outside surrounded by a body of water with friends, family, and pets and had a knack for turning gatherings into an epic party with the echo of her laughter that will go on forever. She was an avid reader and was always reading when she wasn't outside, something Mom also loved and passed on. She worked at Applebee's in North Platte, Nebraska, which ironically will forever play her now theme song, "Closing Time".

She loved finding treasures, anything that was sparkly and glittered, leaving Easter baskets one year that left a trail of sparkles that will remain in our homes forever, even after an industrial shop vac!

Lexi always left her bright light shining everywhere she went and now gets to shower us from up above! So the next time you look up and think that you see a meteor shower, know it's just Lexi signaling to us she's still here watching over us!

Lexi was a devoted fan of "Friends" and often lived by the tact and grace that she watched with dedication (and sometimes confusion). Her love for a good time was rivaled only by the love of her three children, Koen-21, Maddy-18 and Zoe-14, who, in true "Spawn of Lexi" fashion, remain impressively kosher through it all, yet still determined to carry on her legacy in part through her glorious clothing collection and her cell phone that will continue to make the calls everyone loved to receive. She even lives on by "Llamo gato" (the cat) Freya, who is now taking applications for its quest to find her new forever home, if there are any lucky takers in the market!

Her Celebration of Life will forever keep on rocking, as we all know she's sitting up there playing marbles, UNO and Skipbo, while Grandma Irene "cheats", I mean "changes the rules", to another WIN as they lovingly watch over us and our miserable glory.

Lexi leaves behind a family that is as colorful as it is chaotic survived by her mother, siblings, a gaggle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her friends, too numerous to count and too wild to name, you know who your are! She will greet Grammy Irene, Grandpa Rueben, and a plethora of family and friends who left us too soon. I'm sure they're all now watching over us attempting not to Laugh Out Loud, as we struggle throughout the remainder of our time here, remembering that we ARE their Circus & Monkeys! We will forever cherish the memories of her infectious Laughter, Kindness, Love, Grace, Humility, and her ability to help someone every day selflessly.

In accordance with her wishes, Lexi will be cremated, finally achieving the "smoking hot bod" status she joked about. I think Stephen Hawking said it best, "Life would be tragic if it weren't funny." Laugh often and always tell your people that you love them, for it's not WHAT you have in life, it's WHO you have. So raise a glass with us in her honor and memory!

Rest in Peace, Lexi. May your afterlife be filled with endless episodes of "Friends" and new adventures that even you can't imagine. For it's not goodbye, as she's still with us in spirit, it's finding Peace and never forgetting, until we meet again! Thank you for sharing your life with her!

Celebration of Life will be every day for her family, but having a day to celebrate together will be at a later date. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
