Amy Marie Machado, 39 years young, of North Platte passed into her eternal home on February 21, 2015 at her home after a long battle of cancer. She was welcomed into this life on November 18, 1975, in San Antonio, TX to Eliseo and Olga (Ocanas) Machado. She attended a high school in Minnesota and North Platte High School up until her junior year. In 1997 she started her family with her partner Anthony Perez.
She lived the majority of her life in North Platte, and worked as a house keeper up until her battle with cancer began in 2012.
Amy was a mother, daughter, sister, and a great friend. She touched the lives of a lot of people and would light up a room with her big smile. Though she will be dearly missed, she left a big mark in this world and touched many lives.
Amy is survived by her partner, Anthony Perez; four children, Megan Perez 17, Olivia Perez 15, Gabriella Perez 14, and Joseph Perez 9; her parents, Eliseo and Olga Machado Sr.; half sister, Mary Ocanas; biological siblings, Ruperta Machado, Belia Ochoa, Irene Evans, Eliseo Jr. and Christina Najera; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is joined in heaven a long side her niece Aiyana Flores and her good friend Rachel Hernandez.

Christian Wake Services will be 7:00 p.m. tonight at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Pampara officiating. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Apostolic Worship Center with Pastor John Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the North Platte City Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
