Annette D. Hill, age 64, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at home.

Annette was born August 18, 1960, in Grass Valley, California, to Boots Mang and Sheila Cobb.

Annette grew up in California, spending her teen years working as a waitress at various pizza places. During this time, she met her future husband, George W. Hill. When they were of age, they were wed, and to this union was born their beloved daughter Natasha. In her adult life, Annette and her family moved to North Platte, Nebraska where she achieved her CNA license and worked for Centennial Park Retirement Village for many years. After her mother's passing in 2004, she and George moved to Oregon to look after her parents' home until her father's retirement. After her father retired, they moved back to Nebraska, which Annette had grown quite fond of and missed in her time away. There she lived out the rest of her days with her loved ones.

Annette will be remembered for her active nature. She could never sit still and was always on the move. Much to the chagrin of her family, she was always getting up during movies and other peaceful activities to get snacks or take care of "quick" chores. The only thing she stayed still for was Bingo, where her competitive nature had a chance to shine through.

Those left to cherish Annette's memory are her husband George W. Hill of North Platte and her grandson Samuel D. Richards of Kearney.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Natasha Richards and her mom Sheila Cobb.

Cremation has been chosen by the family. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
