Annie V. Jimenez, 71, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away February 6, 2022 at Great Plains Health in North Platte.  She was born January 1, 1951 to Benancio and Stella Gusman in Ovid, Colorado.

Annie grew up in Ovid and graduated high school with the class of 1970.  After high school she met and fell in love with Ignacio Jimenez and they were married November 20, 1971 in Julesburg, Colorado.  To this union three children were born, Bridget, Suzette and Genero.  Their family moved to North Platte in 1989.  Annie was always a stay-at-home mom, making sure her family came first.  Annie was very dedicated to her faith, often attending church services several times a week.  She loved to shop and cook the best Mexican food.  Annie was extremely devoted to her grandchildren and attended all of their sporting and school events.  Her faith and her family were the foundation of her life.

Annie is survived by her husband, Ignacio; children, Bridget Fairbanks, Suzette Manzano and Genero Jimenez; grandchildren, with Bridget, Brayden and Bryanna; with Suzette, Aniston, Collin and Liam; siblings, Amalia Johnson, Martha (Gonzalo) Varela, Ross (Nora) Gusman and Pete Gusman; along with several other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Benancio and Stella Gusman; brother, Joe Gusman.

Memorials are suggested to the Cross of Christ Revival Center, North Platte.

Cremation was chosen.  Book signing will be noon – 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 8 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
