Augusta "June" Tolle, 88, was born in Nampa, ID on June 6, 1935 to Ruth (Houston) and Carl Roy Jankovsky.  She went home to her Heavenly Father on June 16, 2023 at her home in Maxwell, Nebraska surrounded by her loving family.

June grew up in Cheyenne, WY.  She attended Central High School and graduated with the class of 1953.  On May 24, 1952 she married Donald Tolle. To this union 7 children were born; Delores (Kenny) Barnum, Sharon (Doug) Gutherless, Steve (Marilyn) Tolle, Deborah (Sam) Ridge, Julie (Vic) Najar, David (Betty) Tolle, Richard Tolle.  After raising her own children and devoting her life to them; she also raised her grandchildren Brianna (Josh) Rico, Logan (Alisha) Allen as her very own.  She played a big role in raising their children as well.   Don and June moved to Maxwell in 1970.  June was a loving, Christian woman who had a soft spot in her heart for all children.  All of her children's friends knew her as "Mama June" and she loved them as her own.  She will be remembered for her loving heart, hard working hands, cooking, baking and her beautiful smile.  June was a great listener and always had a hug, a smile and advice for those in need.  Many problems were solved at her kitchen table with a pot of coffee.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; grandchildren, Matt (Mary) Barnum, Tammy (Tommy) Alves, Lori Gutherless, Brian Tolle, Tara (Jason) Trisdale, Michael (Kristen) Tolle, Chris (Renee) Tolle, Donovan Tolle, Brandon (Cortney) Tolle, Steven (Hallee) Tolle, Dustin (Tish) Dunton, Jade (Doug) Markey, Landon Shaw, and Alexis Najar; brother Donald (Laura) Jankovsky, sister Patty Merwin; 52 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; in addition to her own grandchildren, she was known as "Grandma June" to Madison Street, Nikki Fitch, Luke (Allie) Sommer, Shannon Sommer (Harmon), Brady (Abby) Rosenblad, Eric (Kaytie) Parker, Sue Boon, Tyler Hughes, (little) Jake Nekuda, Pete Burke and Cody Seamann; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends and loved ones.

June is preceded in death by her husband Don; parents Ruth and Carl Roy Jankovsky; brother Carl Roy; granddaughters Jennifer Kovanda, and Kresha Evans and honorary grandson Alex Feeney.

Her family would like to thank her amazing care team for all they have done.  Dr. Michael Nelson, Joni Sandoval, Dr. Pushkar Kanade and the North Platte Kidney Care and the dialysis staff.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, Maxwell, NE with Rev. Bob Townsend officiating.  Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., mountain time, Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Beth EL Cemetery, Cheyenne, WY, Visitation will be noon – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 21 with family receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home.
