Betty Jean Yeargain (Halstead) 76, of Arnold, Nebraska passed away on March 12, 2023, after a prolonged illness. Betty was born on May 12, 1946, to George Halstead and Ethelyn "Lucille" Halstead (Vian). Betty had many occupations throughout her life from Western Union Operator, Homemaker, Instructional Aide, Rancher, and Community Leader involved with numerous causes. Betty was an avid church attendee; she actively spread God's love wherever she went. She will be missed and remembered fondly by all the people she positively impacted.

She is survived by three children David Haase, Corrie Yeargain, and Elizabeth (Rayme) Manuele, three grandchildren Kaylee, Zachary, and Jesse Hasse, a sister Joyce (Bob) Howe, and their three children and families.

Betty is preceded in death by Parents George and Lucille Halstead.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Arnold Baptist Church, Arnold, with Pastor Frank Scott officiating.  Burial will follow the service at the Arnold Cemetery.  Visitation will be 9 – 5, Friday, March 31, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
