Obituary

Brandy Michelle Lewis, age 45 of Sioux City, IA was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 19, 2018.  Brandy was born July 11, 1973 in Casper, WY.

Brandy. daughter of Jim and Barbara Fox, was one of nine children.  Brandy attended school at Edgebrook Baptist in Houston, TX.  At age 11 she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior.  Brandy attended vacation bible school at Austin Avenue.  She was also involved in Girl Scouts. Brandy had a love for the beauty of the world and a heart for Jesus.

Brandy was a free spirit who was abundantly loyal and giving. Brandy was a breath of fresh air to all who knew her.  She pushed you to step outside your comfort zone.  She was encouraging, loving, and always giving.

Brandy was a lover of beautiful things that included music, food, drinks, company, and astrology.  She was a star that stood out in the sky.  Brandy loved dancing to her own beat.  Brandy was a rare gem who all were blessed to meet.

Brandy met and married the love of her life, Ted Lewis.  She took pride in being a wife and a homemaker.  Brandy was a loving mother to nine children and a grandmother to seven.  Brandy had three granddaughters and four grandsons. Ted and Brandy were lovers of travel and family.  They focused on building their family and providing to those they loved.

Brandy was welcomed home with open arms by loved ones who have proceeded her in death.  Her great grandmother Isabell Barcelo; grandfather Kenneth Barcelo; great aunt Olga Harbison; father Jim Fox; brother Jim Fox, Jr.; brother Michael Fox; and her two sons Myles and Wyatt Lewis that are dancing with Jesus.

Brandy is survived by husband, Ted Lewis; mother Barbara Fox; brother Allen Fox; sister Lola Mason; sister Kristen Sylvester; brother Marlan Fox; brother Patrick Fox; sister Pearl Fox; and brother Paul Fox.  She is also survived by her children Ted Jr, Jimmy, Miriah, Miranda, Faith, Elijah and Morgan.  In addition, Brandy was a nurturing grandma, aunt to many nieces and nephews, and loving cousin.

Brandy will be deeply missed by many but remembered by all.  Heaven was waiting for the arrival of God's beautiful masterpiece.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Brandy.  Online condolences may be shared at www.adamswanson.com. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.  Those wishing to sign her register book may do so Monday, November 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or prior to service time.
