Carol Virginia Roberts, age 79, of North Platte, passed away Thursday June 14, 2012 at Linden Court.
Carol was born September 23, 1932 to Arthur and Flossie Chrisman in Omaha, NE. She attended Lothrop Elementary school and Omaha North High School.
On December 13, 1951 Carol married John Roberts at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Omaha. The couple lived in Omaha where she worked at Seig Drug until 1971 when they moved to North Platte. Carol then worked at Westfield Pharmacy until she retired in 1992.
Carol was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1971, and a member of the UP Old Timers Club. Carol enjoyed bingo, yahtzee, going to breakfast, and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.
Carol's family was her pride and joy, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband John of North Platte; two daughters Cindy (Dan) Farrell of Independence, MO and Cathy (Kent) Young of Overton, NE; two sons Gary (Katie) Roberts of Fremont, NE and Steve (Carol) Roberts of North Platte; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Monday June 18, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert Wiest officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery.
