Catherine Marie McPeak, 72 of Stapleton passed away October 29, 2015 at her home. She was born December 12, 1942 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Frank S. and Margaret F. (Mark) Morgan. She graduated from Lincoln High School June of 1961 and joined the United States Navy. She trained in Maryland and went on to school in Olathe, Kansas. She was stationed at Pensacola, Florida as the 1st woman in the control tower, controlling military aircraft.
Catherine was married to Robert McPeak on March 6, 1964 in Brewton, AL. Son Jack A. McPeak joined the family on December 31, 1964.
Catherine accompanied Robert who was also in the Navy all around the east coast of the United States until 1975 when he retired. The couple lived in California and Nebraska after retirement.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Jack A. McPeak; step-daughter, Roberta Patterson; step-son, Gerry; step-grandchildren, Ryan Hooper, Charlea Wickam, and Brittany Baker; step-great-grandchildren, Caden Wickam, Faith Baker, and Justin Baker; sisters, Alice Gilson of CA and Jackie Knox of MT; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Morgan and Arlene Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dave McPeak; step-son, Jerry Patterson; sisters, Marge, and Mary; brothers, William, Charles, and Frank Morgan; several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at McCain Cemetery near Stapleton with military honors and the Reverend Duane Dunwoody officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2014 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
