IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Bryan
Creel
October 5, 1978 – October 28, 2018
Charles Bryan Creel, 40, died October 28, 2018 with his family by his side in North Platte, Nebraska after fighting a three year battle with cancer.
He was born on October 5, 1978 in Merced, California to Charles (Chuck) Creel and Sandra Abney.
Bryan lived his early years in the area around Modesto, California and attended Ceres High School. He loved spending summers on his grandparents' farm near Patterson where he helped raise pigs, even showing them for 4H at the fair (he always remembered getting a blue ribbon!). After finishing high school Bryan moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He started his professional career working in casino security and then moved on to work in loss prevention at Walmart. He spent many years working for Walmart in various management positions in Las Vegas, Minnesota, and Nebraska. He also worked for a time as a manager for Ruby Tuesday in North Platte.
Bryan's biggest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. He met his wife Andrea in 2005 while living in Las Vegas and they spent an amazing week in Costa Rica for their destination wedding in 2014. In addition to traveling, Bryan loved going on camping trips, being at the ocean in California, and fishing in Minnesota. He loved the wind hitting his bald head on his motorcycle rides in the country. His friends knew they could always count on him for a good joke to make them laugh. His sons were his source of strength and happiness…his life and his love.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Andrea; sons, Gavin, Nathan, and Brandon; dad, Chuck Creel; mom and stepdad, Sandra and Gene Abney; sister, Starleen Lane; mother-in-law, Bonnie Henry (Greg Nelsen); father-in-law, Gerry Henry; sisters-in-law, Jessica Henry (John Perlich), Sarah Henry, and Alexis Henry; brother-in-law, Quentin Henry; and nieces and nephew, Anna, Caiden, Hunter, and Kelyn.
