Charles Louis "Chuck" Shipley II, 52, passed away June 13, 2025 at his home in North Platte.  He was born on June 27, 1972 to Charles Louis Shipley, Sr., and Connie Rae (Richards) Shipley, in Omaha, Nebraska.

He grew up in Plattsmouth, Nebraska then moved to Millard, Nebraska where he graduated from Millard South with the class of 1991.  Chuck entered the U.S. Navy and served during the Gulf War in San Diego, California as an electronic communication specialist on fast attack nuclear submarines.  After his discharge he attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he began to study medicine.  Chuck moved to North Platte where he lived with his brother and best friend Robert L. Shipley.  He hired on with the Union Pacific Railroad working transportation. Currently he was running the south Morrill branch.  He loved motorcycles, sports, traveling, fishing and hunting.  Family was the center of his life. Chuck will be remembered as having a heart of gold.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Connie Pohlmeier, Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Robert L. Shipley, North Platte, Nebraska; 3 nephews; 2 twin nieces; 1 great-nephew; uncle, Ron Richards, Plattsmouth, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Robert Page, Plattsmouth, Nebraska; numerous cousins, other family member and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Louis Shipley, Sr., step-father, Frank Pohlmeier; sister, Kimbery Ann (Shipley) Page; grandparents, Daisey Richards, Tilly Shipley, Robert Shipley.

Services for Chuck will be held in Omaha, Nebraska at a later date.
