Christopher Loren Brown, age 37 of North Platte, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday September 25, 2018.

Chris was born May 8, 1981 in North Platte, NE to Thomas A. and Cheryl A. (Brown) Oberg. He attended school in North Platte and worked at Bud's Repair for several years. He enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his family, especially his children.

Chris is survived by his parents Thomas and Cheryl Oberg of North Platte; children Tessa (Adam) Santoleri of Kentucky, Magnus Brown and Malakye Brown both of McCook and Noah Brown of North Platte; grandchildren Scarlet, Emmy and Deccan Santoleri; siblings twin brother Clark (Brenda) Brown of North Platte and sister Mariesha (Eric) Craven of Oregon; nieces and nephews Alexis, Isiah, Tristan, Austin, Brooke, Alex, Emma and a soon-to-be-born nephew; great niece Kalia, and soon-to-be-born great nephew; grandmothers Irene Refior and Sara Oberg both of North Platte; aunt Sue (Dana) Purdy of North Platte; as well as other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Lloyd Refior and Alfred Oberg.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 29, 2018 at the 1 ^st Baptist Church. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
