Connie Frances Griffitt, 64, of Curtis, Nebraska passed away October 2, 2024 at Great Plains Health in North Platte.
Connie was born on April 26, 1960 to Wilton Druman and Mary Frances (Buckhannon) Hill, in Crosbyton, Texas. She grew up in Denison, Texas and graduated with the class of 1979 from Denison High School. Connie lived as a free spirit. In 1982 she welcomed her daughter Misty into her life. On February 25, 1984 she was united in marriage to David Griffitt. To this union 2 children were born Michael and Miranda. Connie worked at Presco Products off and on several years. She moved about the country working as a caregiver in Oregon, Durant, OK and Maywood, NE. After retirement she settled in Curtis, Nebraska. She loved to travel and had no fear of moving. She enjoyed her life and had a very bright soul. When she wasn't dumpster diving or searching for the good garage sales, she was helping those around her. In Curtis she was known as "Connie talks a lot" or "Constant Connie."
She is survived by her mother Mary Bokies, Durant, Oklahoma; children Misty Brandy, Wellston, Oklahoma, David Michael Griffitt, McCook, Nebraska, Miranda Griffitt, Curtis, Nebraska; grandchildren, Mykayla Brandy, Kaleb "Bam" Brandy, Daryan Griffitt, Dylan Griffitt, Braylin Griffitt, Alaynah Eckhoff, Jurni Griffitt, Dotty Mae; grand-dog, Shaggy; brother, Gary Hill, Wellston, Oklahoma; along with numerous other family members and friends.
Connie is preceded in death by her father, Wilton Hill; daughter, Brandi Flewallen; brother, Larry Buckhannon.
Memorials are suggested to the Gift of Hope Cancer Center.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October, 8, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements.
Cremation will follow visitation.
