Dale Alan Newtson, 62, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away June 24, 2025 at Great Plains Health in North Platte.  He was born on June 14, 1963 to Russell L. and Jessie P. (Tibbles) Newtson in North Platte.

Dale attended school in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School.  He served in the United States Army in Germany.  Dale was united in marriage to Janie M. Hanson in North Platte in 1996.

Dale worked for various mechanic shops in North Platte and was owner/operator of Dale's Repair for several years.  He enjoyed fishing, boating and deer hunting.  For years, Dale had been really good at shopping on eBay finding those hard-to-find parts for the vehicles he was restoring.  Dale was known as a Jack-of-all-Trades!  He will be remembered as soft-spoken man with a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, Janie; siblings, Roger Newtson of Ravenna, Wes Newtson of Benkelman, Virginia (Bruce) Huffman of Tryon, Kara Newtson of North Platte; niece and nephews, Mike Newtson, Corrie (Tom & son Clancey John) Walters, Krystal (Eric) Trevor, Keta Rinne, Miranda Newtson, Kati Jo Newtson; along with many great-nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Jessie; sisters-in-law, Connie Newtson and Kathy Newtson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska with full military honors.  Marty Leggett will bring words of comfort.  Book signing will be Monday, July 7, 9-2, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
