Danny Erdman, 59, of North Platte, passed away in a vehicle accident. He was born on March 6, 1966, in North Platte to Jean Hatfield and Elwood "Butch" Erdman.

Danny was the proud father of three children — Shalea (Travis) Cooley, Tyson Erdman, and Bradan Erdman — whom he shared with Tammy (Toll) Erdman. His greatest joy came from being "Gramps" to TyAnn Erdman, Breckyn Collins, Shane Erdman, Beckham Collins, and Whytlea Cooley. Gramps' favorites were ice cream and his grandkids.

Danny was a hardworking man who spent many years with Culligan and Budweiser, where coworkers became lifelong friends who turned into family. He could fix just about anything and was always ready for a challenge, a joke, or even a friendly fight — living life loud, proud, and without holding back. He was always himself and never cared what anyone thought, embracing life on his own terms. At the same time, he was a simple man who didn't need much, finding joy in life's little pleasures.

He loved fishing, hunting, and late-night pool games with his sons, family, and friends — and he never turned down a bet on a game of pool. His grandkids especially loved their fishing trips with Gramps. Growing up with his brothers and cousins brought him wild adventures he cherished deeply. He also had a knack for finding treasures in the alleys and turning them into something special.

Those who knew Danny will remember his wild, crazy spirit, fearless energy, and his favorite saying: "A jack of all trades is a master of none."

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Elwood "Butch" Erdman; his brother, Billy Joe Erdman; his brother-in-law, Shane Toll; his stepfather, Robert Hatfield; and his grandparents, Beulah and Fay Trembly, and Veletta and Frank Erdman; and by uncle and aunt, Ray and Judy Streeter.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by Tammy, his children, grandchildren, his mother Jean, Ray and Linda Toll, brothers Rick, Gary, Shane, and Jack, extended family, and the many friends who were a part of his story.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at New Life Church with Pastor Tyler Barone officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held noon-7:00 P.M., with family present 5:00-7:00, Monday, October 13, 2025 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
