Deanna Kay Skufca, 60, of North Platte, passed away April 14, 2021 at Great Plains Health. She was born on November 22, 1960 to Mary (Meyer) and Walter Woodward Sr. in North Platte.

Deanna grew up in North Platte and went to North Platte High School. She worked at Kwik Stop and was a babysitter. Deanna married Andrew Skufca on July 28, 1980 in Colby, Kansas.

The couple made their home in North Platte where Deanna stayed home and raised their four kids. She loved children and animals, often fostering kids from all over town. She had a great sense of humor and loved watching crime shows. Deanna was a huge Elvis fan.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew of North Platte; four children, Josh Skufca of Fargo, ND, Martin (Cora) Skufca of North Platte, Stephanie (Makanaokeakua) Ronquillio of North Platte, Sami-Jo Skufca of North Platte; siblings, Doug (Linda) Woodward of North Platte, Wally Woodward Jr. of North Platte; three grandchildren, Jayleigh, Faith, Jaykub; numerous other family members, adopted children, and friends.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Keira.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 26, 2021 at The Rock Church with Reverend Vaughn Farenbrook officiating. Adams & Swanson Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
