Donna Lee Daly, 92, of Sutherland, passed away November 13, 2024 at The Birch in Sutherland.  She was born May 28, 1932 to Elmer and Eva (Gifford) McClain in Paxton.

Donna graduated from Arthur High School with the class of 1950.  She attended Kearney State Teacher's College and taught at a rural school near Arthur.  Donna married LeRoy Daly on August 24, 1952 at Glen Echo Church.  The couple moved to the Daly family ranch at Flats and have lived there since.

Donna grew up attending Glen Echo Baptist Church which she joined later.  She gave her heart to the Lord as a young girl at Maranatha Bible Camp.  She was later baptized in the Birdwood Creek.  Donna belonged to Ringgold Free Church, Helping Hand Club, and helped her mother by cooking for the Canteen.

Survivors include husband, LeRoy Daly of Sutherland; children, Rod (Gail) Daly of Paxton, Craig (Sue) Daly of Torrington, WY; grandchildren, Jeff (Raelynn) Daly of Arthur, Bret (Jennifer) Daly of Sutherland, Matt Daly of Nahawka, NE, Katee Daly of Kearney, Jace (Savanna) Daly of Torrington, WY; great grandchildren, Edward Daly, Mylee Daly, Koree Daly, Clancee Daly, Isla Daly, Mary Daly, RC Daly; sister, Lauretta Valentine of Kearney; sister-in-law, Carolyn McClain of North Platte; numerous other family members and many friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Eva; son, Bart; brothers, Roy and Eddie McClain; sister, Evelyn Correll; brothers-in-law, Ollie Valentine, and Clarence Correll; sister-in-law, Nadine Chandler.

Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Ringgold Free Church with Pastor John Parsons officiating.  Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery near Tryon.  Visitation will be held noon-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
