Edward Eugene Lee, 78, of North Platte, died April 30, 2020 at Great Plains Health. He was born July 29, 1941 to Walter and Gladys (Main) Lee.
Edward graduated in 1958 from North Platte High School and then entered the Unite States Air Force. He served in Vietnam and all over the world. He was married to Shu Mei Lee, whom they had a daughter Michelle. He married Pensri Boukhao on July 19, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio. After his retirement from the Air Force they returned to North Platte where he worked for Gayman's Sand and Gravel and the phone company. He later worked for the Nebraska Truck Center, retiring as shop foreman and diesel technician.
Edward enjoyed fishing and sports, especially Husker athletics. He liked watching Gunsmoke and being with his family. He enjoyed his cats and dogs and took good care of them.
Survivors include wife Pensri Lee of North Platte; daughter, Michelle (Edwin) Miraflor of Honolulu, Hawaii; sons Mark (Sakulthai) Lee of Urbandale, IA and Mike (Amy) Lee of North Platte; grandchildren Jaci Trobough of Houston, TX, Branden Hansen of Abilene, TX , Evette (Travis) Henry, Kris (Lina) Lee; great grandchildren, Emma Henry, Kaito Lee; brother, Walter "Pee Wee" (Crystal) Lee of North Platte; sisters-in-law, Jane Tucker and Gina Lee; numerous other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Babe Lee; siblings Wayne, Donald, Iris and Wilma.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday May 4, 2020 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with military honors at the service. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Husker or Bronco attire is requested. Visitation will be noon-6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements
