Eleanor M. "Deana" McCleary, 84 of North Platte passed away February 2, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Deana was born on February 12, 1935 in North Platte to Merle and Dorothy "Dolly" (Hackler) Razes.

She attended North Platte Public Schools and graduated from North Platte High School. Deana married Jesse "Dean" McCleary on January 9, 1952 in North Platte. The couple made their home in North Platte where Deana worked at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. She will be remembered as always having a strong opinion on her family and life, who was a devoted Denver Bronco's fan.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Kathy) McCleary of Norfolk, Nick (Dianna) McCleary of Venango, and Andrew (Amanda) McCleary of North Platte; grandchildren, Kris (Keri), Erin (Todd), Alex (Sandra), Jason (Shelby), Jenna, Branson, Kimberly, Heather, and Dacie; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister Donna Gibbs of North Platte; numerous other family members; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1988; and a brother-in-law, Robert Gibbs.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at the North Platte City Cemetery with the Reverend Ryan Alexander officiating. Those wishing to sign the register may do so 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
