Eric John Sauer, 50, of North Platte, passed away January 4, 2023 at home.  He was born December 11, 1972 in California.

Eric graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1991.  He worked as a cook for a period of time.  Eric loved being with family but also enjoyed time to himself.  He liked camping with his family and going to the mountains.

Eric is survived by siblings, Julie (Bill) Christensen of Ogallala, Rob (Judy) Sauer of Ogallala, Susan (Karl) Lake of Grant, Cheryl Carter of Ogallala; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceding him in death were parents, William and Rosemary; nieces, Angie Christensen and Amber Brown.

Cremation was chosen and burial will be at Ogallala Cemetery with his parents.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
