Geraldine "Gerry" Calhoun, 85, passed away November 22, 2017 in Ft. Collins, CO. She was born on April 25, 1932 in Columbus, GA to Tasker and Leevettie (Evans) Smith. She married the love her of life, Warren W. Calhoun, on April 14, 1951 in Ft. Benning, GA and they had two children. Gerry belonged to several fraternal groups including the North Platte Assembly No. 177 Social Order of the Beauceant. She was also a 50 year member of Signet Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star. Two of Gerry's most rewarding accomplishments were dedicating her life to supporting her husband in his military career and raising their two children. She also spent many hours doing volunteer work in several of the towns they lived in. Among her favorite groups to work with were the Girls Scouts and the Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren W. Calhoun; brother Thurmond Smith; and her parents. Gerry is survived by her daughter Linda (John) Lamb; son William "Bill" Calhoun; sister Margaret Ford; grandchildren Jacquelyn (Nick) Lamb; John C. (Emily) Lamb, Kaitlin Calhoun and Tyler Calhoun; and great grandson Harley Bright.
