Heidi Kathleen Craig, age 52 of Maxwell, passed away Saturday April 26, 2014 at her home.

Heidi was born on May 12, 1961 in Manheim, Germany to Lowell and Linda Byrd.  She grew up in Anderson, IN and graduated from high school there.  She liked to sew and decorate, and she loved baking and her children.

Heidi is survived by her husband Emerson Craig of Maxwell, NE; children Bonnie (Samuel) Leckron of Bremerton, WA, David Fleck of Kansas City, MO, Jackson Daniels (Natasha) Osborne of Hawaii, and Sarah Osborne of Los Angeles, CA; her father Lowell Byrd of Nightstown, IN; sister Beth Byrd-Lonski of Kansas City, MO; brother Kenny Byrd of IN; 3 grandchildren Alex and Nathaniel Leckrom and Anne Daniels; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Byrd.

Memorials are suggested in her memory and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com .  Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday May 5, 2014 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.    Those wishing to do so may sign the register book from noon to 6 p.m. today at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
