Jeri Rae Kniep, 58, of North Platte, passed away March 21, 2021 at her home. She was born July 30, 1962 to Larry and Marilyn (Peterson) Paulman in North Platte.

Jeri grew up in Sutherland and attended Sutherland schools. She was very artistic and loved decorating and repurposing items. You could often find her at the thrift stores in search of her next project. Those that knew her will remember her roaring laugh that accompanied her great sense of humor. Jeri played the piano and was known for her "free spirit" personality. Jeri especially loved her dogs, Lola and Muddy.

Survivors include her children, Rayanne Paulman, Lauressa (Peter) Gillock, Quincey (Hayley) Whitney; parents, Marilyn (Pat) Sandberg; sister, Stacey (Michael) McGinn; grandkids, Sophia Swedberg, Tabitha Gillock, Carlos Whitney; aunts, Raelene Lemmer, Greta (Dwight) Christiansen; Uncle B; niece, Kelsey Rippentrop; nephew, Jared McGinn; as well as many friends and extended family.

Jeri is preceded in death by her dad, Larry Paulman; daughter, Stacey Whitney; and granddaughter, Olivia Swedberg.
