Jerome Raymond "Jerry" Martinez, 50, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away April 10, 2023 at Azria Health Care, Sutherland, Nebraska.  He was born April 29, 1972 to Leon Martinez and Rachel Mata in North Platte.

Jerry attended North Platte Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1991.  After graduation he worked various jobs around North Platte.   He loved remote control cars and motorcycles and anything that went fast, such as airplanes and RC Airplanes.  Fishing was a favorite pass time for him.  Jerry always looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with his family.  He loved his nieces and nephew.  Jerry will always be remembered as a man who was very respectful and he loved to socialize.  Jerry loved his God.

He is survived by his parents, Leon Martinez and Rachel Mata; his sister, Jeanette;  brother, Adrian (Christina); nieces, Brooke, Grace, and Dustine; nephews, Josiah, and Bryson; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

Cremation was chosen.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
