Jerri Lynn Aldave, 60, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away October 22, 2022 at home.  She was born November 13, 1961 to Richard and Shirley (Luper) Aldave in Artesia, California.

Jerri was raised in Downey, California. As a child her family moved to many different areas.  She graduated from Long Beach High School in California.  Jerri was the only student that never missed a day of school, even receiving an award for her dedication.  She moved to North Platte in 1994 to be close to her sister, Mary.  She worked at various fast-food restaurants in North Platte.  Jerri liked working in customer service, enjoying the customer part more than the service part.  She was a social butterfly, no one was a stranger.  She always wanted to know how everyone was doing.  Jerri was always willing to help at church, wiping tables down and setting us lunches for kids.  She also enjoyed swimming and bowling in the Special Olympics.  She loved coloring and taking walks.  She was happy with whatever she got.   Watching shows from the 70's was her favorite pastime.  David Cassidy from the Partridge Family was the man of her dreams.  Jerri was one of a kind.  There is not another person like her.

Jerri is survived by her sister, Mary (Jobe) Castor; nephew, Jobe Jr. (Emma) Castor; niece, Jessica Castor; great-nephews, Bryson, Jayden, Hayes and Hunter; step-sister, Carol Ann (Bob) Moreno; her adopted friends Dan and Becky Weller, Abbi Sadler, Katlyn Weller, Courtney Weller, Jessica Weller, Alex Weller and Maggie Weller; along with other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Shirley Aldave; step-dad, Charles Wurzburg; brother, Ron Aldave; nieces, Rhonda Aldave and Lisa Moreno.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 31, 2022 at Riverside Baptist Church, with Pastor Dwayne Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be noon-7pm, Thursday, October 27, with family present from 5-7, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
