Jordan Nicole Luther, 33 of North Platte, Nebraska passed away March 18, 2023, at Great Plains Health in North Platte surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 25, 1989 to Shane Alexander and Joanna (Brack) Araujo, in Tucson, Arizona.

Jordan graduated from North Platte High School in 2007.  She lived in Gothenburg, Nebraska and Colorado Springs, Colorado where she worked in the restaurant industry. She met William Luther (US Army) and they married on March 25, 2011 in Colorado Springs.  During this union, a son, Jaxson was born.  They returned to North Platte in 2017.  Jordan was devoted to her work. She worked as a server and bartender at multiple restaurants including Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday's, Dave's Place, and as front desk registration for the Best Western hotel. Most recently, Jordan served at Good Life on the Brick's.

Jordan will be remembered by her contagious laugh.  With her wonderful sense of humor, she could make anyone feel special - just being around her. The center of her life was her son, Jaxson, and her family. She enjoyed cooking a variety of exciting meals for everyone. Mostly, Jordan enjoyed her precious time with her boy, whether it was at the lake, having a pizza party, camping around a bonfire, or just hanging at the pool.

She is survived by her parents, Joanna (Jeff) Araujo, North Platte, Nebraska, Shane (Cheri Hilderbrand) Alexander, Omaha, Nebraska; son, Jaxson Luther, North Platte, Nebraska; brothers, Mitchel (Liz Perkins) Alexander, Lincoln, Nebraska, Brock Alexander, Lincoln, Nebraska; niece, Kora Alexander, Lincoln, Nebraska; special friend, Amy Sneed, North Platte, Nebraska; along with many other family members and friends.

Jordan is preceded in death by her grandparents, LaVern and Betty Brack; Ron and Shirley Alexander; and uncle, John Brack.

Memorials may be sent to her family for later designation and funeral expenses.

Cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Good Life on the bricks on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
