June Denise Tomlinson, age 52 of North Platte, passed away Thursday February 23, 2017 at Great Plains Health.
June was born on October 26, 1964 in Tewksbury, MA to Christine Cyrus and Bill McClurd. She grew up in Massachusetts and Arizona and moved to North Platte when she was seventeen. She married Vernon Tomlinson on May 29, 1992 and to this union two daughters were born, Heather and Sara. She worked at various places in North Platte, including Country Kitchen for many years. She liked watching supernatural tv shows and was a movie buff. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
June is survived by her daughters Heather (David) Granados and Sara Cyrus, both of North Platte; fiancé Norman Koch of North Platte; grandchildren David, Phoenix, Neveah, Tyler, Ayden and Jade; mother Christine Duran of Tucson, AZ; two brothers and one sister; as well as other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Bill McClurd; and her grandmother "Nanna".
