Karleen K. "Karol" Russell, 74, of North Platte passed away March 23, 2021 at her home. She was born October 29, 1946 in North Platte to William and Doris (Staples) Motsinger. She attended schools in North Platte through the 11 ^th grade. She loved to bowl in her younger years and was an avid Husker fan.

Karol has four sons; Rich, Troy, Jimmy and Billy. After moving around to various locations, she settled back in her hometown of North Platte.

She is survived by her children, Rich (Barb) Saighman, Omaha, NE, Troy (Lisa) Saighman, Lakeland, FL, Jimmy Saighman, Pocatello, ID and Billy Saighman, Pocatello, ID, brother; Bill (Jackie) Motsinger, Youngstown, OH; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Karleen is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron Motsinger.

Memorials are suggested to the Callahan Cancer Center, North Platte, NE.

Cremation was chosen. A book signing will be held 9:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4-7.
