Kenard D. Knoll, 84, of North Platte, passed away February 12, 2022 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.  He was born February 11, 1938 to George and Ruby (Kunkel) Knoll in Wellfleet.

Kenard graduated from Curtis Ag High School in Curtis, Nebraska.  He returned to the family ranch and worked with family.  He married Fae Ackles in June of 1958 and to this union two children were born, Gayle and Mark.  Kenard lived his entire life in the North Platte area and was a lifelong rancher in his heart and mind.  He followed the stock market and had an interest in financial ways.

Kenard is survived by children, Gayle (Jim Bruner) Knoll-Bruner of Shelton, Mark (Sharon) Knoll of Omaha; grandchildren, Tess (Craig) Kirschner of Kearney, Noel Bruner of Omaha, Emily Wheeler of New York, NY, Sophia Wheeler of Omaha, Houston Wheeler of Lincoln; brothers, Jerome (Linda) Knoll, Marvin (Lazette) Knoll of North Platte.

Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Ruby.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, North Platte, Nebraska. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
