Kenneth Dean LeQuieu, 58, of North Platte, passed away on Nov. 12, 2021. Kenny was born on May 7, 1962, in Fort Rucker, Alabama, to Betty and Vernon LeQuieu. His family moved around to several places including California, Hawaii and Alabama due to his father's service in the U.S. Army. Ken spent his middle and high school years in Fresno, California. His family enjoyed camping, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles. After graduation, Kenny went into the U.S. Army for three years and then into the United States Coast Guard. After serving proudly for 21 years, Ken retired and was hired by Union Pacific Railroad as a machinist. Kenny had several close friends that he worked with and they could always count on him to help when needed. Kenny loved to travel, especially on his BMW motorcycle. He completed several Iron Butt Runs and he enjoyed taking day rides with Paula and his friend Keith. Kenny and Paula made several long trips on the bike, riding in Arkansas and North Carolina.

Kenny is survived by his partner and loving girlfriend, Paula Southworth; his mother, Betty LeQuieu; his brother, Richard (Victoria) LeQuieu; and his sister, Robbie (Charlie) Durr.
