Larry Lee Wilson, 63, of Grand Island Formerly of North Platte passed away January 11, 2019 at the Omaha Veteran's Hospital. He was born on November 27, 1955 to Bernard and Anna Mae (Brown) Wilson in North Platte, NE.

Larry graduated from Arnold High School before entering the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as a caretaker at Fort McPherson National Cemetery for many years, before retiring and moving to Grand Island, Ne.

Survivors include his siblings, Judy (Jim) Barnes of Granite City, IL, Karen Kelley of Cheyenne, WY, and Jerry (Carol) Wilson of North Platte, NE; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lana Wilson.

Cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday April 5, 2019 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with full military honors. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
