Leasa Lynnette Davis, age 61, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Great Plains Health.
Leasa was born September 3, 1963, in North Platte to Christopher Charles and Myra "Mitzy" Corinne (Moore) Hayes.
Leasa graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1981. She married Chris Davis on June 12, 1982 and to this union two children were born, Caleb and Jesse and she also gained a step-son Zach. Leasa taught Catholic Catechism (kindergarten) for several years. Leasa volunteered at the Bargain Bin and Platte Valley School. Leasa was a Girl Scout leader at Hall School and Lincoln School. Leasa herself was a Girl Scout from a Brownie to a Cadet. She took care of her step-grandchildren Blaze, Dakota and Eli for many years.
Leasa loved her family and took lots of family photos. She loved to have family gatherings and getting together with friends and then scrapbooking all those memories.
Those left to cherish Leasa's memory are her husband Christopher; parents Christopher and Mitzy; children Christopher Caleb Davis of Oregon and Jesse (Vikki) Davis of North Platte; step-son Zach (Terri) Davis of Arizona; sister Lori (Rob) Carlton of Oshkosh, NE; grandchildren Lowen Keys and Kennedy Biggs; step-grandchildren Blaze, Dakota, and Elie Fisher; special cousin Mike (Renne) Hayes; special friend Becky (Randall) Gilland; and many more family and friends that were near and dear to her.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Carl and Maxine Moore; parents-in-law George and Jane Davis; and special cousin Toni Hayes.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 A.M., Monday, July 7, 2025, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Vidya Sagar Arikotla officiating, following Rosary at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Family will be present for visitation from 2-4, Sunday, July 6, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
