Obituary
Leola Vernita Baker, age 82 of North Platte, passed away Monday December 15, 2014.
Leola was born on May 29, 1932 in Valley Falls, KS to Harold and Vera Winter. She grew up and graduated from high school in that area. Over the years she had many jobs, including bus driver and running a mail route. She loved playing pool, fishing, watching sports, especially football, and crocheting baby blankets and giving them away.
Leola is survived by 5 children, Peggy Quarmstrom of CA, Robin Moore of MO, Dawne Reed of MO, Bobby Dryer of MO and Gaylen Reed of North Platte; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Frank Dryer; and a great aunt who was very special to her.
Memorials are suggested in her name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
