Hey Y'all this is Lillian.  I have passed to enter the big gates to be with my Lord and my loved ones.

Lillian Annette Herbst-Kohl, 77, passed away July 25, 2025 in North Platte, Nebraska.  She was born on February 23, 1948 to Fred and Audrey (Jackson) Herbst in North Platte.

Lillian grew up in North Platte where she attended school.  She loved to fish and people watching.  Lillian will be remembered as a great mother, an excellent housekeeper, often worked two jobs and enjoyed country dancing

Survivors include her 3 sons, Shawn Skinner, Brad Kohl, Fred (Chris) Kohl; 10 grandchildren, Sam Nobles, Wes (Nicole) Kohl, III, Heather (Ryan), Brad Jr., Hannah, Jayden, Chloe, Shawn (Alyssa), Chance, Keegan; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Leon Herbst, Lye Herbst; 2 sisters, LaDonna James, Laura Dugger; along with many other family members and friends including longtime friend Frankie Kohl

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Herbst, Audrey Sue Mackley; daughter, Melissa Kohl; son, Wesley Kohl; 2 grandchildren, John Dillon, Tyrell Kohl; brother, Larry Herbst; sister, Inda Lockard; best friends, Mert Ziegler, Millie Hovey.

Cremation was chosen.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
