Linda Lee Harris-Brandt, devoted wife, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, in North Platte, Nebraska. She was born on January 29, 1962, to Karl and Patricia (Hervey) Krausman in Erie, Colorado, After the early death of her mother, her father married Katie Kunzie, who became a wonderful mother to Linda. Linda spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and was known for her warm spirit and gentle nature.
Linda was a proud graduate of Erie High School, Class of 1980, she dedicated many years to working as a server at Aunt Alice's in Colorado, where her kindness and attentive care were appreciated by patrons and colleagues alike.
Family was at the heart of Linda’s world. She first married Gary Leonard and together they had a daughter, Nichole. Later, she married Timothy Brandt, with whom she shared the best years of her life side by side, building a loving partnership grounded in mutual respect and affection.
Linda’s personality radiated through her love for her family, her fondness for dogs and birds, and her enjoyment of simple pleasures such as bingo and crocheting. These hobbies brought her joy and connected her to many who shared in her interests.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Tim Brandt of North Platte; her daughters Nichole McNutt of Longmont, Colorado, Tammy (Daniel) Beyers of Coquille, Oregon, and Terri (Kris) Krause of Galeton, Colorado; her son Jesse Anderson of Portland, Oregon; and a devoted circle of grandchildren including Lowgan Hurst, Katie Hurst, Sierra Anderson, Shaelee Williams, James Beyers, Jesse Beyers, Phaze Anderson, Tearzarebhuhn, and Quinton Krause. Linda also leaves behind her sister Carolyn Kleiboeker of McCook and brother David Kleiboeker of Erie, Colorado, as well as numerous other family members and friends who were touched by her life.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Krausman, whose memories she treasured deeply.
Throughout her life, Linda Lee Harris exemplified warmth and kindness. Her enduring love for her family and the simple joys she embraced will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know her. Her presence will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
