Linda K. James, aged 75, of North Platte, passed away on August 24, 2023, at North Platte Care Center.  She was born on June 19, 1948, to Donal and Mary (Clemons) Pixler in Rawlins, WY.

Linda grew up in Rawlins, WY, graduating from high school with the class of 1966.  She brought two sons into the world, Gail and Troy.  Linda worked as a hotel manager at various locations for 35 years.  She moved to North Platte, where she lived for the last 5 years since her illness.  Linda was a member of Job's Daughters and the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, Donal and Mary; brothers, Bob and Donal Pixler; sister, Pamela Rollison.

Linda will be remembered by her sons, Gail James of North Platte, and Troy (Sheila) James of North Platte; grandchildren, Cory James, Casey (Jacob) Meyer, Garrett James, Ashley (Casey) Werkmeister, Chase (Chadler Erickson) Weiss; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Patrick Rollison, Saratoga, Wyoming; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Pixler of Rawlins, Wyoming, and Susan Pixler of Lexington, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A committal service will be held at the Rawlins Cemetery in Rawlins, WY at a later date.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
