Linda Marie Thiem, 71, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away March 16, 2025 at her home.  She was born on October 1, 1953 to August Piel and Mary Koch, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Linda spent her life living in Nebraska.  She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing Skip-Bo, UNO, Go Fish, and she was a big Husker Fan. Linda liked to bake and was always happy to bake whenever she was asked.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them in everything they participated in.   She will always be remembered for her Big Heart.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Teresa)Thiem, Sr., Vince (Carrie) Thiem; grandchildren, Jacob, Josh (Allee), Joseph Jr. (Hannah), Bobbi Jo, Danny (Chandra); great-grandchildren, Josiah, Everett, Benji, Nyko, Ryder, AJ and Tyler.  Along with many other family members and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, August and Mary; husband, Dennis Mathers; brother, Fred Piel; daughter, Theresa Fous.

Cremation was chosen.  Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
