Lucinda Marie Chick, 62, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away February 13, 2023 at Linden Court in North Platte.  She was born August 31, 1960 to Donald and Dorothy (Wright) Click in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Lucinda moved to Hyannis, Nebraska as a child and grew up in Hyannis.  She graduated from Hyannis High School with the class of 1979.  After high school, she ran an in-home daycare for a short time.  She then worked at the Hyannis Hotel as a cook and waitress and she also worked at Dredla's grocery store in Hyannis.  She loved to shop, especially for shoes and purses.  She enjoyed word search puzzles and cooking. Lucinda was always happy and content.

Lucinda is survived by her siblings,  Lydia (Joseph) Tucker, Milligan, Nebraska, Laurie (Steve) Mochel, Roland Park, Kansas, Ladonna (Josh) Chrisman, Gretna, Nebraska, Lorena Rockwell, Syracuse, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Cassandra Tucker (Lonnie), Mary Mochel, Ashlee Lemley, Mackenzie Buskirk (Christopher), Brandon Rockwell (fiancé Shyanne), Tanner Rockwell, Shelby Rockwell, Kyler Rockwell (fiancé Angie) Kaiden Rockwell, Aliyah Rockwell; great nieces and nephews, Layla, Matthew, Logan and  Maggie Tucker, Benjamin, Aaron and Harper Mochel; Kyle, Raven and Evelyn Rockwell; Bralyn Lemley and Ila Buskirk; daycare children, Michelle and Allison; Jamie and Kori; along with other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Darlene Chick; nephew's, Joseph Tucker and Hunter Lemley; niece, Sarah Mochel.

Services will be held 11:00A.M. (Mountain), Saturday, April 15 ^th , 2023 at Hyannis First United Church of Christ with Pastor Deb Johndreau officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Hyannis Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign the register book may do so 9:00-4:00, Friday, April 14 ^th, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
