Marcel Vieyra, 59, of North Platte died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his home in North Platte. He was born April 26, 1953, in North Platte, Ne to Raymond and Mary Martinez Vieyra.
Marcel married Estella Enriquez July 14, 1977. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for approximately 20 years and worked for CR England for approximately 10 years before retiring. He enjoyed jogging, his kids and grandchildren.
Marcel is survived by his children, four sons, Jason (Marcy) Vieyra, Joshua Vieyra, Marcello Vieyra Jr all of North Platte and Marcus Castillo of Pueblo, CO; 3 daughters, Reina (Eric) Burke, Maria (Daniel) Johnston and Estella Vieyra all of North Platte; sisters, Mary (Doug) Shaw and Patsy (Tim) Dilley all of North Platte; and 29 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Estella and brothers.

Christian Wake Services will be 7:00 p.m. today, April 3, 2013 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Reverend Neal Hock as celebrant. Cremation will follow Mass. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
