Margaret Elizabeth "Maggi" Welch, 75, of North Platte, passed away January 30, 2022 at Great Plains Health.  She was born September 27, 1946 to Hershy and Kathryn (Kirk) Welch in North Platte.

Maggi has been a baptized member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior since she was nine years old.  Her hobbies include painting, drawing, crocheting and other crafty projects.  Maggi loved to read and write; she was a self-published author of a book of short stories and wrote an unpublished novel entitled "Crusade for the Lost".

Maggi is survived by brother, David Welch; nephew, David Welch; cousin, Linda Greeley; best friend, Shirley Quig.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Hershy and Kathryn; sister, Ann Gamble.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, with Rev. Steve Meysing officiating.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
