Marie Therese D. Pinilla-Welch, 55, of Ogallala went home to Jesus on June 8, 2013. Known by all who loved her as ""Terri"". Terri was born on March 31, 1958 to Dorothy Allet Stensgaard-Pinilla and Leo ""Billy"" Pinilla in New Jersey USA.
Terri's family returned to her father's native land 6 weeks after her birth and she grew up in Panama Panama until the age of 16. During her time as a youth Terri served the Lord along side her aunt Tia Gioconda, serving the poor in the slums of South Central America. At the age of 16 Terri returned to the US relocating in Monterey, CA where she finished high school at Monterey High. After graduation she attended the Monterey Penensula College obtaining her degree in Liberal Arts. After graduation Terri took a position as an intake case worker with the Monterey Department of Health and Human Services where she worked for several years.
In 2001, Terri relocated to Ogallala, NE where she met and married her husband, Roger Lee Welch on February 14, 2002.
Terri is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Welch of Ogallala, NE; daughter, Yolande Chell Randazzo-Messenbrink; son-in-law, Kelly Messenbrink; three grandchildren, Anthony, Ashton and Aiden of Litchfield, MN; son, Adam M. Pinilla; daughter-in-law Diana Pinilla; grandchildren, Brianna and Kaleb of Moore, OK; father, Leo Pinilla of Santiago Panama; sister, Ruth Pinilla of Salinas, CA; and 5 nieces and nephews, Ken, Jay, April, Lani and Marino.
Terri was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Allet Stensgaard-Pinilla; her beloved grandmother, Macn; and an aunt, Tia Gioconda.

Cremation was chosen, there will be no service. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
