Marilyn Kay Teall, age 71 of North Platte, passed away at her home Saturday February 10, 2018.
Marilyn was born on August 17, 1946 in Gothenburg, NE to Walter George and Lydia Amanda (Tappan) Carland. She grew up in North Platte and graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1963. She married Dennis Teall Sr. and to this union 2 children were born, Millie and Dennis Jr. Marilyn worked at the Drive-In Theater, TRW in Ogallala, Gibsons, Kmart, and Walmart, from which she retired, all while raising her children on her own. She enjoyed fishing, Elvis Presley, and was an avid collector of gnomes. She was a hardworking, caring woman who was willing to befriend and help those around her. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Millie Fuoss and Dennis Teall, Jr., both of North Platte; son-in-law Robert Fuoss of CO; grandchildren Seth Fuoss, Jeremiah (Cassandra) Fuoss, Aaron (Shasta) Fuoss, Ashley (Jake) Hays, Jessica Teall and Dennis Teall III; 6 great grandchildren, including her special great grandson Lucas; siblings Janet Razes and Clara Negley both of North Platte; godsons Alex and Jared Silos of North Platte; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted children and grandchildren and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings George, Walter, Charles, Loren, Seymour, Mary Clifton and Esther Legas.
