Marlene Mae Anderson, age 67, of North Platte passed away December 12, 2022 at UNMC Buffet Cancer Center in Omaha.

Marlene was born on March 8, 1955 in Sutherland, Nebraska to Leon J. and Della M. (Kelso) Anderson. She attended school in Sutherland. She later earned her GED. Marlene married John E. Heinemann and to this union, 4 children were born, Jamie, Kim, Sean, and Randall.

Marlene worked different jobs through her life having only truly loved working on the dairy farms with the cows.

Marlene had many passions in life. She loved fishing, sewing, crafting, phenomenal artist, cooking, and caring for her grandchildren. She had unconditional love for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Jamie (Emma) Heinemann of North Platte, Kim (Steve) Ford of Wisconsin, Sean Heinemann of North Platte, and Randall (Amber Gamble) Heinemann of Grant; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, James, Dylan Heinemann of North Platte, Brandyn LaPlante, Nicholas Heinemann, Samantha (Sage) Wright all of Wisconsin, Dana Heinemann of Curtis, Shayley, Blayne and Addylynn Heinemann of North Platte, McKenzie Heinemann of Wisconsin; 1 great-grandchild, Thyme Wright; siblings, Vina (Bill) Finch of Paxton, Neil Anderson of Paxton, Diana (Ron Green) Anderson of Wilcox, and Kathy (Mike) Tindell of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dick and Mae Kelso; parents, Leon J and Della M Anderson; nephew, Jeff L. Anderson; special person, Doug Shimmin.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 5:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
