Mary Lynn Buettner, 66, of North Platte, passed away, September 16, 2020 at Great Plains Health. She was born August 9, 1954 to Kenneth & Betty (Knott) Brownell in Callaway, Nebraska.

Mary grew up in Oconto and North Platte, Nebraska. She married Thomas Buettner on November 12, 1996 in North Platte where the couple made their home. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She had a great faith, always reading from her bible and practicing her Catholic faith.

Mary is survived by her husband Thomas of North Platte; two sons, Joshua Shores of North Platte and Justin Shores of Grand Island; granddaughter, Katie Shores; two sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Mooberry of Johnson Lake and Christina (Cary) Rowan of Moses Lake, WA; two brothers, Kenneth Brownell of North Platte and John (Merri) Brownell of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Michael, Stanley, Jim, and Tom.
