Mary Lou Styles, 79, of North Platte, passed away January 25, 2020, at Great Plains Health.

Mary Lou was born on August 30, 1940 in Ogallala, Ne. Mary Lou grew up in the Oshkosh area but was raised in the North Platte area. Mary Lou worked as a waitress at Sandhills, Country Kitchen and Pizza House. She also worked at Great Plains Health in housekeeping.

Mary Lou loved music, she played the mandolin and she played in a bluegrass band. She loved movies, her favorite were Disney Movies. Mary Lou's faith was very important to her. She taught Sunday school at Love Ministries.

Mary Lou was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mary Lou is survived by five children, Melvin (Carolyn) Mavis, Kenneth (Nora) Rasmussen, Ronda Yonkers, Martha Nichols all from North Platte and Ron "Jr." (Heather) Samland of Wheatland, Wy. Mary Lou has fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Sister, Beverly Motsinger of North Platte, and brother, Lyle Rima of Lincoln, Ne.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 29, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Hobleman officiating. Inurnment will follow at North Platte Cemetery. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
