Michael Ray Olsson, 54, of North Platte, passed away on May 30, 2023, at his home.  He was born to Gary and Cheryl (Carlon) Olsson on July 25, 1968, in North Platte.

Mike was raised in Gothenburg, attending schools and gradating from Gothenburg High School.  Upon graduating, he opened his own painting company, "Olsson's Painting".  He married Melody Boyer on July 24, 1989 and one son was born from their union, Joseph.

He always worked hard to take care of his family and the people he loved, as well as his dog Karma.  Mike was a handyman and enjoyed working on cars and building things.  He was fond of fishing and watching Nascar.  Mike was so kind and always funny.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Olsson; father, Gary Olsson; sister, Rebekah Mills; among many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.

Those that preceded him in death include his mom, Cheryl Olsson; former wife, Melody Boyer; and brother, Joel Olsson.
