Michael Rene Rivera passed away on September 30, 2023 in North Platte, NE.  Michael was born, to John (Julian) Rivera and Rebecca Castaneda on July 15, 1971 in Oceanside, Ca.

Michael was raised in the Thunder Hills Area in Oceanside, Ca. He attended Casita Cougars Elementary, Washington Middle School, and Vista High School.  Michael later moved to North Platte, Ne and worked at the Horse Plant, Masonite, Parker Hannifin, and recently at Super Suds Car Wash.  Michael enjoyed to DJ, listen to music, barbeques, spending time with his daughter Alisa, with his family & friends, and his dog Lugz.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Alisa Rivera; mom, Rebecca Castaneda; brothers, Rudy Rivera and John Rivera (Patty Rivera); sister, Alicia Rivera; nieces, Chantal Gutierrez and Sabrina Rivera; nephew, Anthony Rivera; and great nephews, William and Oliver Arnold.

He is preceded in death by his dad and grandparents.

Funeral Services will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Platte on Saturday December 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
