On July 14, 2023, Montie Glen Gosnell, passed away at the age of 32, at Great Plains Health in North Platte.  He was welcomed into the world on September 10, 1990, by George and Jody (Kohl) Gosnell in North Platte.

He grew up in North Platte and received his GED in Kearney at the age of 16.  He worked primarily outdoors, laying asphalt, repairing driveways, and trimming trees.  Montie was a free spirit, making his own path in the world.  He was sometimes stubborn but those that knew the core of Montie, knew he had a sweet and gentle soul.  He was a social guy, always outgoing, and always willing to help someone.

Those left to cherish Montie's memory include his mother, Jody (Lyle Dow) Gosnell, of Beaver City; brother, Tony (Lily) Gosnell, of Hooper, NE; nieces and nephews, Aidon, Zander, Ava, and Zoe Gosnell; aunt, Cora (Jim) Fox, of North Platte; uncles, Glen Jr. Gosnell, of North Platte, and Terry (Rhonda) Booth, of Holdrege; great aunts, Lorie (Tim) Wilson, of Hershey, Bonnie Prieuater, of Lincoln, and Linda (Dave) O'Neil, of North Platte; other family and friends.

Preceding him in death is his father, George; brother, James Kohl; maternal grandparents, Gene and Sharon Kohl; paternal grandparents, Glen and Nina Gosnell; cousin, Kim Woodward; uncle, Frank Kohl; aunt, Brenda Kolb; great uncles, Junior Woodward and Loren "Oopie" Carland.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Gathering Spot in North Platte.
