Patricia Ann "Pat" Glass,78, of North Platte, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska.  Pat was a beloved wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and caring friend.

Pat was born March 17, 1942 to Fred and Eunice Dennis in Des Moines, Iowa.  She graduated from Valley High in West Des Moines, Iowa in 1960.

Pat married Robert "Bob" McCaffrey in August of 1962, from that marriage came two daughters Cynthia and Kristine.  She then united in marriage to Kenneth "Ken" Glass on December 7th, 1974 in Des Moines, Iowa.  In the union of their marriage was her step-son Brian Lahlum.  Ken and Pat moved to North Platte in 1976.  She worked for the North Platte School system for 24 years as a paraprofessional at Adams Middle School in the Media Center.  She was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in 2003, and since has always maintained a positive attitude and was in remission.  After her diagnosis of cancer, she retired and loved to volunteer at Great Plains Health Imaging Center, Great Plains Hospice, First Lutheran Church and North Platte community playhouse.  Pat had a great love for her husband, children, their families and friends.   Each grandchild/great-grandchild held a special place in her heart.  She enjoyed scooting around town in her red "Pat's Bug".

She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Red Hat SASSIE Club, Great Plains Hospice, Great Plains Health Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lois Circle of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Friends of Library.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Evelyn Dennis, sister-in-law, Shirley Dennis and nephew, David Dennis.

Survived by her husband Ken of 46 years; daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Fugate, Rochester MN; Kristine "Kris" (Sam) Hansen of North Platte; Step-Son Brian (Ellen) Lahlum of Chula Vista, CA; brother Ronnie Dennis of Eldon, MO; grandchildren Tessa (Jw) Toole of North Platte, NE; Chelsea (Joe) Reynolds of Kearney, NE; Zach (Shanya) Zysset of Lincoln, NE; Ashleigh (Ryan) Wempe, of San Antonio, TX; Lauren (Sam) Johnson of Rochester, MN; Allie Fugate of Minneapolis, MN; Kennedy Lahlum of Chula Vista, CA; Blake Macek and 12 great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.  She was also survived by her special feline friends.

Memorial may be made to Great Plains Hospice.  Cremation was chosen.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 15th, 2021 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Patrick Sipes officiating. The memorial book may be signed from 1-4 pm, February 14 ^th at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home, North Platte, NE. Family will be present from 2-4 pm on Sunday.
